Hello, and welcome to ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png){kind=small} last_of_us, a community dedicated to the upcoming PS3 game The Last of Us, developed by Naughty Dog (Uncharted). Here you can post an aray of Fanart, Fanfiction, or discussion pretaining either to the game, its developers or any news concerning its progress. When posting material, especially work not your own, make sure you have permission from the creator or credit them. Also, play nice with each other. No flames, trolling or bashing of the actors/film or each other. If you disagree with something or someone, explain why in a respectful and tasteful manner. The Last of Us. 'Must've been nice.' What is The Last of Us you ask? Here's the breakdown:  The Last of Us is a "genre-defining" experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character driven tale about a modern plague decimating mankind. Nature encroaches upon civilization, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States The Last of us was released June 2013 after a delay pushed the game from its initial release date of May 7, 2013. | Community. This is our routine. #00. NO DRAMA: This isn't TNT or IMDB.com. If your sole intention for joining is cause trouble you will be banned. #01. Be polite to your fellow members. There may be difference of opinions, but please, no personal attacks or name calling. This is a light-hearted fan community, let's not make it a negative experience. Agree to disagree if it comes to it. If you continue to be a problem in this community, you'll be banned from posting. #02. No more than 3 icons behind an LJ cut please. Anything over exactly three icons will be rejected. #03. Images over 100x100 - 400x400 pixels should be placed behind a cut. Don't know how to make one? Click Here. #04. SPOILERS: are fun! But put them behind an cut for the sake of some who HAVEN'T seen been keeping up with the game and for the sake of courtesy. #05. COMMUNITY PROMOTION: is allowed, but please remember to ask either permission from one of the moderators first via private message (if they allow it) or the "affiliation" post (see TAG: 'affiliates') to get an okay. Also remember that the promotion of a community must pertain to the subject matter of the community (in this case The Last of Us). Failure to follow this rule will result in the privilege of promoting being revoked and the post rejected. #06. USE THE TAGS: I cannot stress this enough. They were created for the sole purpose of keeping things here at the community in order and easier to find and to reduce the hours spent browsing through the calendar section. It's not a complicated request to adhere to in the least and it will be much appreciated by the maintainers. #07. With the recent increase of spammers here at the community to become a member you must have an active/established account that you post on a semi-regular basis. Message) since it's inception. ☢ You have no associates (friends) nor are you a member of any communities. ☣ Your journal is new and not established. #08. To affiliate with this community click here and you'll be added. #09. Do not post Artwork or Fanfiction that isn't your own without the creator's express permission. It will be deleted otherwise. #10. Absolutely NO HOTLINKING images. If you have images you wish to upload, please use your Scrapbook or Image hosting websites (Photobucket.com, Imageshack.us, tinypic.com, imagebam etc). Do not use the Bandwidth from another website, its what people call "Bandwidth Stealing" and its not nice. #11. Elle, at the present is, fourteen years old and until she of legal shipping age (eighteen years old), this community does not prohibit content pretaining to underage/jailbait relationships with characters old enough to be her brothers, sisters, mothers or fathers and etc. This community does not allow incest either. #12. Keep meida like fanmixes and downloads available to view for "Members Only". Do not leave them public. #13. When Posting News and other material you did not create, remember to link to the "SOURCE" you found it at. Its only right. #14.
